A really good, floor grazing flowy maxi dress that nips juuuust there and sits right everywhere, making you feel like with one great piece you've nailed the outfit of the day. Have you been there? When the weather takes a warmer turn, I am a huge raging fan of dresses of all sorts. Midi, maxi, long, short, fit and flare, you name it. The dress is the ultimate one piece that you can build a beautiful summer wardrobe around. One of said pieces that should make the top of your list is a summer maxi dress. Why so? A maxi, in all its glory, is a very complimentary style of dress that women of all ages can rock with confidence.

I've really never met a maxi dress I didn't like (unless the pattern didn't agree with me..). I nabbed this Carolina K sleeveless summer maxi dress on sale last month when the Toronto temperatures were too cold to even think about wearing it. But now that I'm heading to warmer weather for a wedding this weekend, I've got this number packed away in my bag!
